Membership

In the 10 years of our coalition there have been three types of members:  organizations, individual professionals, and family members.  For most of this decade five organizations have been crucial in our ability to promote the educational and advocacy goals of the CPCC.  Without the support of Helen Devos Children’s Hospital (now part of CoreWell Health), the Hospice of Michigan, CS Mott Children’s Hospital, Angela Hospice, and the Michigan State University Department of Pediatrics, our coalition would cease to exist. We now have three options for individual members:

Employees & Staff of Organizational Members: If you work for one of our organizational members, you already have access to the excellent monthly webinar series hosted by our partners at the Pediatric Palliative Care Coalition of Pennsylvania.  You can become an  individual member if you join before the our fall, 2026 annual business meeting with a donation of your choice.  Registration before this meeting will give you a discount to our spring of 2027 education conference fee.

Other Professional Members: Professionals who are not employees or staff of an organizational member can become members by joining the coalition at the annual fee of $100 per year.  Being a professional member who resides or practices in Michigan, you will have access to the PPCC webinars as a benefit of membership at no added charge. The non-member fee is $40 per webinar or $300 for all 10 webinars. (You can read more about the series here.) As a member you will be invited to the annual business meeting and able to vote on board members.  The educational conference registration fee will also be discounted.

Individual or Family Members: Individual family members or non-professionals with an interest in our work are welcome to join. You can register online to become a family member with an optional donation, you will be invited to the annual business meeting, and you will have a discounted registration fee for the educational conference.
