Support for children and families

Applying for a Grant
A child with a life limiting condition and requiring pediatric palliative care may have a special need that cannot be met by insurance or other charity programs. The Foundation also awards grants to families bereaved by the death of a child whether from illness or any other cause.

The intention is to cater for needs that fall outside the parameters of traditional hospice programs or the wonderful charities that give grants to families with terminally ill children.

Family grants may be given to help mitigate hardship, meet an immediate need, or provide respite or comfort in grief.

We consider grants on a case by case basis to families in need according to funds available at the time.

To apply for grant, download our Grant Application Form and submit by mail or as an email attachment.

Families we have helped
We have helped families with a variety of needs in the past. Kids have benefitted from the Foundation's assistance in supplementing pediatric palliative care and, sadly, we sometimes helped the same families when death followed.
